Who may apply:
- 9-12 grade students
- Residents of New Mexico, southwest Texas, and southern Colorado
- U.S. Citizens or permanent residents only
- Conducting original research and began no earlier than May (research must be in compliance with standard research ethics guidelines and provide proof of prior approval from an SRC/IRB if required)

Note you will have to upload a copy of your abstract, research plan, and statement of outside assistance when submitting the application
February 17, 2021 – Online Application Deadline
February 24, 2021 – students will be notified if they were accepted to present at the Southwest JSHS
March 8, 2021 – Final Abstract, Research Paper, and Poster due (via email)
