Amy K. Greene is the Health Careers Opportunity Program Manager with the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. She brings over 15 years of experience as a non-profit and community engagement administrator specializing in education, service-learning, social justice, and student empowerment. She has always found the intersections between human nature and our natural world fascinating, which has taken her on an academic and career journey which includes being an alumni of the Bronx High School of Science in NY, obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters of Public Administration in Non-Profit Management from Suffolk University, holding positions ranging from park ranger to case manager, and most recently earning certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). The common thread that has motivated her along the way has been creating mutually beneficial partnerships and programs that offer opportunities for others to explore their own strengths and interests and attain their educational and professional goals.
