AnaMaria is an undergraduate at Harvard University studying Math and Economics. She is a multi-year research challenge and ISEF participant, doing research in the category of mathematics since 8th grade. Her work on creating a new way to visually represent magic squares in order to better study their associated symmetry won her Best of Category in Mathematics in 2019 at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF). She is currently working with a Cambridge-based non-profit, Girls Angle, to help promote a love of mathematics in other girls. In her free time, AnaMaria loves spending time with friends and family, going on walks, and doing art of all kinds, including drawing, painting, jewelry making, scrapbooking and animation.
